 Sunday, January 9th, 2011 at 10:45 a.m., St. Mark’s launched Refuge, a casual, come-as-you-are, casual worship service, This service continues to be held in our Activity Center and runs concurrently with our traditional service at the 10:45 a.m. time. Although Refuge has a sense of informality, our worship places its primary focus on the scripture and understanding God’s word for our lives. Participation is a major component of our worship, with extended time for prayer, individual or corporate. If you are so moved, you may pray in silence at a prayer station or with 2-3 people in a small group. The music for Refuge is a mix of traditional, contemporary and global music; a multi-sensory worship!
