Q: Where did you get the name “Refuge”?
A: The name Refuge comes from Psalm 46:1 which says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in time of trouble.” Refuge, by definition, is a safe haven, a shelter. Refuge is not a place to hide from the world, but a place to be comforted and then renewed to go out into the world through the power of Christ.

A: We are extremely excited about the step you’re taking. One goal of our Refuge team is to do simple church, to strip everything down to the basics.
