Adult Ministries

St. Mark's has numerous opportunities for adults to begin and continue their spiritual growth.

Adult Sunday School classes use a variety of approaches to provide Bible study and discussions of contemporary issues. Small group studies provide opportunities during the week for fellowship and spiritual enrichment.

Other groups focus on topics of particular interest or Christian fellowship. For example, a weight management group meets weekly (See Tuesdays with Carolyn on our calendar). Prime Timers meets monthly for lunch and outings. Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The Intercessory Prayer group, sponsored by United Methodist Women, meets monthly. There are several circles of United Methodist Women who meet monthly and have projects of interest to the members. United Methodist Men have an annual catfish fry.
